zoo keeper

A zoo keeper is a person who works taking care of wild animals that are on display for visitors to see. If you love spending time with animals from around the world, you might want to be a zoo keeper.

The workers at a zoo who feed animals, care for them, clean their enclosures, and educate the public are zoo keepers. At the best zoos, part of a zoo keeper's job is providing animals like lions, meerkats, and zebras with exercise and activities that keep them from becoming bored, as well as informing zoo visitors about animal conservation and endangered species.
